MFAA Broker of the Year (NSW/ACT) 2025

On a beautiful night at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, the state’s mortgage and finance industry gathered to honour outstanding professionals and businesses from across NSW and ACT.

From hundreds of nominations, the industry body selected a winner for each of the 18 categories. The awards are designed to recognise excellence in customer service, innovation, professionalism and business performance, with a mix of individuals and organisations who have made a lasting difference to NSW and ACT clients and communities being celebrated.

The highlight of the night was when the award for most outstanding Residential Finance Broker went to our CEO and Founder, George Massouridis.

MFAA CEO Anja Pannek congratulated all finalists and winners, highlighting the critical role our expertise plays in guiding Australians to reach their financial goals.

“Our members are at the forefront of helping Australians secure homes, build wealth and feel confident in their financial futures,” Ms Pannek said.

“It’s inspiring to see so many professionals delivering such a high standard of service while adapting to the demands of a changing market.”

The Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) is the peak national body which represents professional mortgage and finance brokers, mortgage managers, and aggregators across Australia. They work with people like us at Mortgage Navigators to deliver financing solutions that align with our client’s individual financial goals, ensuring consumers and businesses achieve their objectives with confidence.

As a body which works with and represents every corner of the industry, being chosen for this award is beyond humbling.

Our deepest thanks to the entire MFAA organisation for this honour, including long time friend and supporter of our business in State Manager Bob Masalkovski. Representative bodies such as the MFAA might not get the recognition they deserve for the hard work they do on behalf of our industry, but they consistently advocate for our industry, keep our best interests at heart, and always make themselves accessible to members like us.

This allows us to better serve our community and help more people realise their financial dreams.

It was a proud moment for all of us at Mortgage Navigators to be nominated across three award categories, and an incredible personal honor for our Founder, George, to be named Residential Broker of the Year in NSW/ACT for 2025.

Our organisation has been part of the MFAA for over 25 years and we have always appreciated their unwavering support and leadership. The MFAA has been, and continues to be, a valued pillar of the broking profession. Their leadership helps us achieve excellence, fosters innovation, and generally helps brokerages like ours deliver on our promise for our customers.
